Extinguishers have to be safely depressurised before anything else can happen, and the contents determine what happens next. Dry powder, foam, CO2, water and wet chemical units all need routing differently, and legacy foam concentrates in particular need careful handling because of the fluorinated compounds many of them contain.
We collect and process extinguishers for facilities teams, fire and safety contractors, servicing companies, manufacturers, landlords, local authorities and waste operators. That covers time-expired units, condemned stock, decommissioned systems and product recalls.

How it works
Tell us how many units you've got and what types they are. We'll arrange suitable containment and collection through approved channels, using our own ADR fleet where the contents require it.
Units are then processed at authorised facilities, where they're safely depressurised and separated. Steel and aluminium cylinders are recovered as scrap metal, and extinguishing agents are treated through the appropriate route depending on what they contain.
